We have an unworldly 18 year old ds seriously considering aliya and the IDF, but first he needs to learn Ivrit!!! Please imamothers any advice on good ulpanim, especially those offering summer programmes, with live in accomodation. Perhaps a yeshiva or kibbutz that combines Ivrit with learning in a kind caring environment.
My dh is very seriously ill and I know my ds would be concerned about his Dad so we need to know he is in a caring place where he can learn Ivrit and enjoy his time in Israel. My dh undergoing great pain and physical challenges so good for ds to have a break and focus on his own future in Israel. He is very committed to aliya combined with military service, we are looking into machal and garin Tzabar but learning Hebrew is key to everything. Advice and guidance from all really valued and appreciated!!
