I'm an atzmai, looking to get an accountant to file my Israel and US taxes. Someone quoted me 1,500 NIS minimum for each through his company, meaning minimum 3,000 NIS for both. That seems ridiculous! Someone else said she pays 800 NIS, but that might be for more simple and/or only Israel. Someone else said she pays 1200-1300 for both. So I'd like to know what in the world is normal. If anyone has someone specific in/near Yerushalayim to recommend, that would be great as well. (I can PM for that if it's better than here.) Thank you!

hi,
I used to work for a us accountant named Nosson Buchsbaum in Kiryat Sefer. He mostly knows his stuff when it comes to US taxes and he has a lot of experience, although he might be a bit expensive (he charges about 900 nis for an all inclusive 1040 tax return). About Israeli tax returns I dont know how much he knows - he usually forwards to his acountant Chanoch Fogel (I dont know how much he charges)
you can try calling him 08-976-1754
tell him his previuos secretary reffered you
good luck
