Any good ideas for two single moms to spend their day without their children? Brooklyn, Manhattan area.

Do you ever go out when it's not chol hamoed? What do you enjoy doing then?

Spend the day at a nice museum that you wouldn't otherwise do with your children. (the Met or another art gallery.) Walk the high-line. Walk one of the bridges.

Thanks for the response. I go out very rarely , and usually shop/eat out. Can't eat out on Pesach, and don't want to shop.
What is the High-line?
Indoor suggestions preferred as rain is forecasted.

There is free star gazing, but that is a night activity. They have a free tour tomorrow evening.

the high-line is a park built on an abandoned elevated subway line....runs on the west side from about 14th street to 34th street....around 10-11th avenues...
Indoors--there's a lot of things!
The city is full of museums. What are you interested in? Art? Modern Art? Museum of Natural History?
The auto show at the Javitz Center?

take a tv studio tour.
You live in the biggest city in the world...I'm sure you'll find something.
