What is your favorite boys name? One that you would give to your baby boy if nothing was holding you back, Hebrew or English (or Yiddish, etc)?

Lol! Raisin, I think the OP just forgot to change a word and copied from her other thread on girls' names.
I like girl names better than boy names, but I think Avraham or maybe Chaim.

Hebrew names are difficult to choose favorites from because they have deep, important meanings. Almost all of them could be my favorite.
I like the name Elyakim very much.
And my favorite English name is Sebastian which is derived from Latin.

I like Christopher, but that would be majorly weird at a Jewish day school.

My kids have non-traditional Jewish names but my husband put his foot down at Nicholas. We *almost* had an Anthony.
I really like Christopher (and Christian as a name) too.
I also wanted to name my daughter Magdalena. My grandmother's name was Lena and my other grandmother's hebrew name was Miriam so I thought that would be a great compromise but....

I love the name Tzuriel but it would never fly with DH. He is not into modern Israeli names at all. I also like the name Yishmael in theory, but given the figure and the problems his descendants cause us, that would be a no go too. BH, there are names that DH and I both love and we picked them for our sons.

I went to school with a Jewish girl named Krystyna. Her mother liked the way the name sounded. I thought it was weird, even in a private non-denominational school because of her being Jewish.
