I think they're gay |
LOL!!!
Once I have been accused of being a guy too, because I was defending a guy and "my opinion was too cold" - in fact I was just stating the halacha. Does it mean a woman can only be emotional and unable to see the truth?
It reminds me of people who give a male first name to their daughter "so she wil be strong"

I thought you had to be a woman and a mother to be allowed. I've read posts about someone's impending first child.
I don't begrudge their being on here, of course, I was just surprised

Motek I am cracking up. I actually asked my DH that questions cuz I was wondering how many he could come up with, and all he could think of was the blood!!! I was shocked! I thought for sure he'd know the moodiness

Yes there are quite a few divorcees here, and not yet mommies.
I have a funny story, a divorced friend of mine asked me to help her fill out the questionnare and help her sign up bec. she's not too good with the computer.
anyways, when it came to the question about the brocha for Tevilah.. I got stuck..
I havent been to the mikvah in a very very long time and I didnt know if we say Asher Kidishanu, or just Boruch Atah Hashem, Elokeinu Melech Haolam, al Mitzvas Tevilah, I also didn't know if it's al mitzvas tevilah, or al hatvilah..
I started searching online for the brocha of mikvah, I tried mikvah.com, berachos.com, jewish.com...
after an hour of not finding any links, I just called my mother and she told me what the brocha is.. but me and my friend had such a good laff about it..

"I also don't think men would be interested in this site, but if there was an Imafather I would be tempted to register (as Reuel? Ruben? ).... "
Hey, Reuel was my ggf's (Aleyv haShalom) name. I've never met another one with that name. GGM's zayde was "Aholiab" - also another one I've never met irl.

I found it quite funny that the question was
