Hi - does anyone have a great recipe for making the "vodka sauce" from scratch for Penne a la Vodka that I need to make in big batches for a "dairy" simcha (rather than pouring it from a jar)?
Thanks, all recommendations appreciated.

Cook pasta according to directions. Heat butter and oil in sauce pan. Add onions, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Sauté 3 minutes. Stir in vodka. Simmer 5 minutes. Add tomatoes simmering for 15 minutes while stirring. Stir in cream and salt. Simmer 10 minutes while mixing. Add parmesan cheese and mix well. Add salt pepper. Serve over pasta

Thanks for the quick reply, sounds yummy! Do you know if it's possible to get "Cholov Yisroel" heavy cream anywhere?
