Hi
I vaguely remember hearing a song - don't remember where and when. And im searching for the lyrics.
Here is what I recall:

"There's a time...
For a better brighter day...
There's a time...

Join us in celebration
...
Together we have the power
To make this our shining hour..."

Any leads?

Also - I am looking for any other songs connected to the theme of 'time'
Theme for this project is 'TIME' from passim in koheles
As in ' a time to he born a time to die .... A time to plant.. To build.... To weep..."
Any leads?

Tia!

Not sure if you only want english but here are some ideas..

The old, slow lakol zeman vaeis

The newer Lakol zeman by shwekey (time to dance...)

MBD
-Take the time ( http://jewishlyrics.blogspot.c......html)

A new cd called "miracles" has a beautiful song in english about seasons and times that can also work.
I havent had a chance to write the lyrics down

I have another song in english I heard from Camp Bnos Ruach Chaim, following a young girl through the stages of life. The chorus is
"now it is the present, it's so swt and pleasant
I'll cherish the moments that come my way..........
I'll savor every second of today"

Time moves on and I grow older....
It's the darkest part of night...(I think originally from Camp Shira)

Tick Tock by Aka pella

tick tock Al tomar by country Yossi (old tape)

Theres one more that I'm blanking on. I'll try to post tomorrow. Let me know if any of these work

Time moves on as I grow older, so much yet to learn,
Roads not taken, dreams forsaken, which way now?
Guide me teach me, you can reach me
Firm yet smiling eyes, help me build a better tomorrow,

Lead me through the first beginnings, new worlds yet unknown,
Life unfolds as I grow older, molded by your hands,
Teach me show me, you who know me, show me how to live
So that I may find my tomorrow.

Chorus: It's the darkest part of night before the new day begins,
Yet at dusk the promise of another morning,
It's the promise that we'll never be alone, no one to lead,
V'zarach hashemesh, tomorrow has begun today.

Tell me when I need to know that I am doing wrong,
Fill my heart and mind with love and fear for my Creator,
Comfort me in times of sorrow, teach me to be strong,
So I can bring Moshiach tomorrow.

Not from Camp Shira AFAIK. I learned it somewhere else, but I don't know where it originated from.

Thank you so much for all of that!
The tick tock songs sound very interesting - I am not familiar with them. Will look for those.
and the miracles - seasons one too! Who sings that?
