Since my 4 year old gifted me with her stuffed animals two weeks ago, I now sleep with no less than 6 stuffed animals. If they fall over the side during the night, she gives me what for. One even has a bell inside it's tummy so when I turn over my whole family is alerted to the fact. (Never mind that DD told me that I have to learn to turn over more quietly.)
Oh and once I spent a whole day in public wearing a beautiful hello kitty purple and pink plastic bracelet because my adorable princess told me she will allow me to wear her prize from Morah for one day. And she caught me each time I tried to take it off.
So it's got me wondering what insane thing do you do to make your kids happy?

I talk to my baby in his front facing stroller. I have noticed people giving me looks as I talk to the air. And in the store they go "sorry?!"
"Oh I was just talking to the baby"

Maybe it's not the same, but once my DD said to her baby
"Hello handsome.", and a chassidush guy walking by thought she was talking to him , and said "Thank you"

I loved having a baby with me, so it looked like I was talking to the baby, but I was really talking to myself.
