I tried bleach, but it didn't help. Any other ideas to get rid of black mold?

I was told that too. Tight space, uncooperative family members, and forgetful me have together enabled the unsightly mold to grow.

Now what?

to lovely have you kept the door open enough? do you do it every night? it cant be only some nights. it is very sensitive so if you forget one night then that might be it. you can call the company or appliance repair and they will change it for you.

do you clean the gasket from the soap and fabric softener? this is important. some people swear by peroxide. they say it gets rid of it. try it it might help.

also avoid fabric softener use the sheets instead. use powder detergent instead of liquid. its more sudsy and it sits in the gasket and causes mold. keep wiping often at least once a week it will prevent it. it needs care. more then the top loader.

I asked them about it. They said that mold damage is not warranted. Of course they can do it for money, but I only have a small black spot and I first want to try to get rid of it myself.
