I need trips to plan with my kids [mostly little kids, 6 and under], not too far away, and not all day trips, just fun regular outings like the zoo. Except we always go to the zoo.
Any ideas?

Immediate reaction - what? Are Baltimore kids different than the rest of the planet's kids?
Not sharing it on the thread because I was born in Baltimore.
Yes, we are

Are there memberships or coupons available for these places?
Where I live there's a magazine called Metro Parent. It's available everyone and on line too. They have a regular calendar of fun things to do, and a few times a year put out a booklet with all the fairs, fruit picking, etc.
Does the Eruv book have that kind of a list?
How many libraries are in driving distance? Do they have programs you can go to? We have a great system locally. Dozens of libraries are all in the system, and I can go to the member list of all the libraries within driving distance and see their calendars.
Hatzlacha!

There are also tons of fun free museums (Smithsonian museums) in Washington DC for when you run out of Baltimore trips the Washington DC zoo is also very nice and free. The Mall there has lots of place to run around as well as the Washington monument at the end and the white house. At the other end is the Capitol. You can beat traffic by taking the Marc train which is fun in and of itself. If you do drive down to DC do it early and get out of there before 4 pm when the traffic becomes horrendous.
