I know most playgroups only have till 2. I'm wondering how hard it is? What do you do with kids from 2 till bedtime ?

Take care of them. Mother them.
Though, as they get older, it does get harder. And it's not just playgroups. Most boys in Primary also get out at 2:00.
There are people who do clubs 2-3 times a week for 4-5 year olds who need the extra time and stimulation away from home.

Play
Run around outside\bike
Eat supper
Read a book
Take bath
Go to sleep.
When they are in playgroup I put them in at 6:00\6:30. So they really are only home for 4 hours.
[I also work at home until about 3 so they play independently during that time]

I'm thinking more of the winter hours . When they can't play outside. Between feeding breakfast preparing lunch dropping off and picking up in 4 hours ... When do you have some time for urself? Do housework ?

No, I work when they are out.
Even in the winter, as long as it is dry I try to get out a bit. Especially before it gets dark early.

I work, so I send my kids to playgroups that run until 3.
