I am in search of tips/techniques/books to help a 4.5 year old who has serious shpilkes. He does fine in non structured time but davening and circle time are an issue. He is too young for meds as I understand from my own experiences as a child who had ADHD.

In general we use a combo of incentive charts/role playing and a lot of talking and have had success with other behaviors/issues but this is still a struggle.

TIA!

I would consult a sensory integration specialist to determine if that is involved and if so, what you can do for it.
