I'm making a bar mitzvah in a few months. I'm looking for a good but not too expensive caterer. It has to be someone reliable.

You could try Tuvia at Meisner's in Flatbush. Let him know your budget, and he will work with you.

Try Merkaz Caterers. I made a few simchas by them and was happy.

What about Asher Lang? my parents used him for 3 relatively recent aufrufs/shabbos sheva brachos and were happy. I dont have his number off hand though.
