Hi all,
I'd like to send my preschooler rice cakes with cream cheese for lunch. Is there any way to keep these little 'sandwiches' from getting soggy?
Thanks

How about just sending the cream cheese in a small container and letting him/her dip? Many kids seem to love dipping things...

It's a good idea, I just don't think my child has the fine motor skills to manage that quite yet. Thanks for the response- I know it's kind of a boring question :-)

send the big rice cakes that are thick. the majority of the rice cake will stay crunchy. alternatively, sliced cheese on rice cakes won't get soggy. if cream cheese is too hard to dip, btw, hummus is easier. rice cakes and hummus are yummy.
