Could anyone kindly tell me where are some good places to buy dresses in the UK?

Here is a list of shops sent to me by a friend for when I went to visit. Not all of it is 100% accurate (for example I found nothing in John Lewis but she swears by that store)

Debenhams
John Lewis
LK Benett (this is slightly expensive)
Phase Eight
Next (all I found there was very short dresses but nice tops)
Marks and Spencer
Karen Millen
Reiss
Selfridges
Harrods
Harvey Nichols
Quiz (I found my dress I wore for this friends wedding there but most of their stuff is pretty cheap and looks that way too)
