Any suggestions for a top for this skirt? Looking for something that is shabbos-dik.
It's a-line, and hits me a few inches below the knee.

I would wear a white or black top tucked in it.

A solid sweater in any of the colors.
A cardigan or v-neck also in any of the colors.
A black solid top with a statement necklace in a complimentary color.

okay, thanks for your input. This is what I came up with: a black top (I already have) with a shell in the reddish color. Then I found this necklace:

overkill? cute? coordinated? nerd?

A white shirt perhaps with a tie bow at the top to add some detail for shabbos.

If you can find a coral tshirt to match the coral lines that would make it work-wear (smart casual)

For winter a thick black (or navy?) sweater.

I look AWFUL in white. makes me look very very washed out., but yeah, that's the right idea.

I wouldn't wear that necklace with a reddish shell...it would be too much IMO because you already added the splash of color that ties it together. If you were going with a plainer black or white look, then it would add the pop. But you don't need it anymore, and I'd go for a more toned down necklace in that case.

The necklace is off a tone for the skirt. That zag looks more navy than black from the pic, if so a navy or mustard blouse could he very pretty and autumnal.

its black, not navy. but yeah, navy and mustard is a nice combo!

I have no idea where I would find a mustard blouse-- I looked at macys.com, etc.... nothing.

HY-- remember that mother at the siyum?-- she was wearing navy and mustard. It looked so good together.
