Can I make sauteed or roasted carrot recipes and freeze them or will they taste nasty? Thanks!

They should be fine, but I'd undercook them slightly, as they will soften further from the process of freezing, defrosting, and reheating.

NO! Carrots lose all their texture, and become as mushy as baby food. They lose their taste, too. Of all the frozen foods, carrots are probably the most disgusting.

Ok thanks! Ill save them for Sunday. If anyone wants a good recipe the sweet and spicy carrots on the bag from TJ's are awesome.

I just took a baked tzimmes recipe off imamother that said it would freeze fine.
