Does most of the action take place with soldiers, officers or civilians? Just trying to get a feel for it. Wonder if I'll be able to find it in the library.

It's an older book. He's written several books. It was a mix, if I remember correctly...from the beginning of it I could tell it wasn't for me, so I mostly skimmed it.
