Where are you located?
In Brooklyn, I go to a store that sells authentic perfume meant for other countries at a fraction of the cost. I pay $50 for my large perfume which costs $85 elsewhere.

eBay! If you know what type you want it is a fraction of the price anywhere

Be careful with ebay as knockoffs abound

I use scentiments.com and have gotten great deals. The best deals are for stuff without the fancy packaging which is fine if you are buying fir yourself. I love Angel and the price is great for a 3.7 ounce bottle.
They aren't knockoffs. Also you save on sales tax which can be a lot

Perfumania.com with sales. You can typically get a $50 perfume for a little under $30, for example.

Regarding ebay: This is the search I use for ebay for perfume. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.
Quote: | perfume -oil -sample -samples -roll -blotter -empty -barbie -applique
-atomizer -handmade -freshener -bottle -necklace -charm |
Just highlight my search and cut and paste into search box in ebay. Let me know if you have anything better.

If you're looking for a smaller quantity or a sample, try Surrender to Chance.
I'm just beginning to learn about perfume, and even if I like something, I don't want the commitment of buying a huge, expensive bottle that I'll probably never finish. This company decants fragrances into smaller containers and sells them; they also sell samples directly from manufacturers when available.
There are a number of companies online that do this, but Surrender to Chance seemed to have the best reviews from hardcore perfumistas.

Bumping this up. I just put in another order to fragrancenet.com. Their items are fresh and you can always find a coupon code. I bought perfume for me and cologne for dh for 1/3 of the listed price once again.

I use essential oils -roll on. I think that's more authentic than even the stuff found in the really expensive brands.
