Dd is about to turn 13 (you will probably be able to guess that after reading this, even if I didn't tell you). At her school (Israel) they are allowed to have "dumb phones" with calling and texting. She has one that is very difficult to text on--it's the old style where you have to press the 2 button three times to get a "c"  . She would also like something that looks "cooler"--maybe a smartphone that's made so it can't work on the internet?
