My baby is 2 months old and sometimes his legs tremble. I've noticed this since he's born. Is this normal? I'll ask pediatrician at next visit but just wondering in the meantime.

My baby does too. It really frightens me. My pediatrician is not majorly concerned but if it doesn't go away he aid to do blood work in a week. He also shivers randomly all the time, does your baby do that too?

FWIW, my baby did that until about 3 months... Pediatrician said it is fine as long as it does not continue. It didnt but child does need a lot of PT for muscle tone, leg strength and balance. I do not know if it connected. Baby is almost 19 months and just starting to walk.

Did the pediatrician say what causes this?

Pediatrician said it is from a nervous system that needs to develop and its normal for first few months. It did lesson as time went on.
Now I am remembering that my pediatrician said if it stops when you hold the child's leg it is normal and if it continues, then it could be a siezure

That's what I thought. And it does stop when I hold his leg so I feel calmer. Thanks for your replies.
