Any ideas with activities in the house, or places I can take my son? I would appreciate any ideas in the northern nj/ Monsey area. Thanx everyone

What are his interests?
Sports: Play a pickup game of 2 person soccer, football catch, Horse (basketball), kickball, elimination, what have you.
Tools: buy wood/materials, and work with him on a project.
Join in on a hobby of interest and do it together.
Read a book or magazine together, and discuss.
Take him to one of those indoor game and prize places, or laser tag, or a batting cage.
Go to a museum (Intrepid?) or performance that would interest him.
You sound like a kind and caring mom.

My son and I like to play board games together, with so many games out there it's not to hard to find ones you both enjoy. Also going out for pizza and/or ice cream, bowling, going for a walk or drive, playing ball, baking, puzzles, craft projects. The important thing is you do something you both enjoy or you will be spending time watching the clock instead of enjoying your nachas. Have fun!

Ds is 11 and he loves when I play boardgames with him. The most popular by us now is rumikub.
He also loves ice cream so taking him for ice cream is the biggest treat.

Take him out of yeshiva to eat for lunch once in a while. I make my kids appointments lunch time and we eat out.
I cleaned up the leaves from my lawn with my boys. We had fun.
Palisades ropes course, if he wont chicken out like my kids (they reimbursed me)

Take him out to the ice cream store, make your Shabbos order alone with him, take him to a big store like Target..... At home you can bake/cook together, play board games....
