We both watch movies, I think he looks away if nudity comes up but I generally don't sit and watch him while we watch so don't know for sure (also nudity doesn't actually pop up that often).

What do you mean by dirty movies btw?

Yes, on the plane. He tries to pick movies that are as clean as possible. It's not a shitta. He just grew up not watching movies and it's not something we do to relax.

Yes he watches whatever movies he wants. So do I. He tends towards docudramas. I tend towards science fiction. We both like romantic comedies, mysteries, action, funny family drama and period dramas.

what DH watches or doesn't watch is his business. I have seen some stuff that made ME uncomfortable and I didn't want to continue. Game of thrones and orange is the new black come to mind. And a million ways to die in the Wild West. Yuck.

Every once in a while DH will watch a comedy with me. About once every year or so DH watches an action movie in a different room than I. I cant tolerate gory, bloody and violent scenes.

DH also watched 24 on his own.

DH and I mostly watch movies/tv shows together (usually in the sci-fi or comic book genre, like all the stuff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, various Joss Whedon shows... though we've found a few comedies that we like, like Parks & Recreation or Community). Sometimes he'll stream a movie or tv show while folding laundry or washing dishes while I'm in another room.

Most don't have graphic s-x scenes, and the violence is not especially realistic or bloody, and while we might not want our kids hearing some of the more risque jokes, we're grownups and we can handle it. DH and I both look away for various reasons. I'm usually the first to "come out" and tell DH it's "safe" to look again.

I can probably count the number of R-rated movies I've seen on one hand. We stick mainly to PG-13 and under.

He will watch it in the house
He will watch it with a moue (DD)
He will watch it here or there
He will watch what he wants anywhere.

He will watch them with the kids
He will watch them with other Yids
He will watch them with me, his wife
Never has it caused strife

He is a big boy, yes he is
I will not treat him like the kids
He can make his choices on his own
Its the 21st century- he can even use his iphone

What he does is between him and HaShem
but I also trust him, he is my friend
What he watches is for him to chose
If you try to control you will probably lose.

So take my advice, if you wish
For marital problems, you should not fish
For 'seek and ye shall find'
Believe there is a problem- you'll find one every time.

Any hey, if I can watch Outlander (eek! Jamie!!) (ok, to be honest, I avert my eyes) he can watch what he wants.
