Hi! Looking into schools for my son now- can you share info on Torah Temima? What is the parent/student body like? Overall education? English Department?
We are a Kollel family, have filtered internet, I cover my knees at all times type- not crazy into fashion but not hopelessly outdated either. My husband is a shtark learner and we hope to stay in Kollel for a long period of time imy"H. Would we fit? I have heard that the parent body is towards the professional side- are there Kollel families as well?
Thanks for your input!
Side note we are also looking into the Cheder, Mir and Torah V'Daas. Info on all would be appreciated!

It doesn't sound like Torah Temimah would be the best fit for you; is there a reason you picked it? The Cheder would be more your type, but very hard to get in. Mir could also be an option. And if you prefer a mix, Torah V'Daas has a nice balance of families, though some grades are more in one direction than others, esp. with the new push into Marine Park.

Honestly trying to keep options open plus I heard they help with tuition. We would prefer the Cheder but know it's hard to get into so looking into other places as well. What is the parent body like at TT?

I am also in the midst of deciding where to send my first boy. We are also a kollel family. Torah Temimah is more a professional "flatbushy" crowd. The Mir and Cheder are more Yeshivish. What about Chaim Berlin? They seem to have a nice mix and they have a very nice sized kollel so plenty of kollel kids there.
