Which are your favorites?
Which are best for a 3.5 yo who already loves Pollyanna? Looking for more for her that are not scary, have lots of cute girl parts, and lots of singing and dancing.

Oliver is scary. And they do the Smooth Criminal dance.

I personally love the Bollywood-style dances in A Little Princess. They've also got a tap-dance to "Moses Supposes" in that one. There might be some scariness with the Indian tale (the Ramayana) that Sara is telling, but it's been a while since I saw it and I don't remember specifics.

I imagine their version of Annie would feature lots of cute plucky little girls.

Not Zir Chemed, but has your daughter seen any of the Kol Neshama videos? They're having a 50% off everything sale: http://www.kolneshama.org/stor.....-off/

Haven't heard of them! Which would you recommend for little girls?

I also see a new video on Mostly Music by Tobi Einhorn and Chavy Klein called "Catch a Butterfly"...anyone seen that one yet? I've watched another by them and liked it...can't remember what it was called though. Is this one appropriate for my daughter's age? And is it as fun to watch as the Zir Chemed ones, or more plot/dialogue vs. musical-style stuff?

Watch the trailers to get a feel for the different videos.

Operation: Candlelight is NOT a musical and is probably too scary/plot-driven for a 3.5 year old.

A Light for Greytowers has a mean lady in charge of the orphanage (and a few scary scenes where the protagonist is locked in a basement/slapped as a punishment), but is has lots of musical numbers and a happy ending. I know many 6-7 year olds who can sing all the songs and even mimic the choreography!

The Heart that Sings features a protagonist who is a young survivor of WWII, so the whole story is about healing emotionally from that. But other that seeing a flashback of her as a child hiding in the closet while her family is escorted [non-violently] from the house by some German soldiers, you don't see any of the war itself. Lots of songs, lots of cute girls (the protagonist is a camp counselor), happy ending.

The Camp Bnos Yisroel DVDs are the most "light" -- they all take place in a fictional summer camp and deal with the various bunks and their friendship issues. Ex. one of the 8-9 year old girls learns about self-esteem and not being jealous of her more popular friend; one of the teenage campers learns not to make herself a dishrag by letting her friends thoughtlessly take advantage of her; a competitive girl learns to chill out and enjoy the game; a girl with a bad attitude who constantly complains learns to see the good, etc. Some of these have songs throughout, but some only have a loosely-connected "music video" at the end.

Bumping this up.

Are these videos in English or Hebrew? I'm confused because it says "subtitles in English" on the cover

The shows are all in English but since it is done in Israel they make them with subtitles in both Hebrew and English
