My years-old vertical blinds are ratty, falling off, and no longer being sold. What would you suggest for a living-dining room that has four standard windows? I am looking for something reasonably-priced and low maintenance that looks classic and good. I saw shades in a catering hall that had horizontal lines that were puffed out- so pretty. Don't know what they are called. I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks very much.

I thunk they're called Austrian shades.
Check out JC Penney , they have a large selection

thank you- that seems to be what I was looking for. I am not a diy person and would need installation and someone to measure. Do you know what such shades would cost from a windowshade place?
