Booster car seat

my daughter is just about 4 and wud like to switch her to the next stage car seat but b4 I buy was wondering whats the difference between the booster car seats with a back and without ...why wud I choose one over the other...?

Most 4 year olds are not ready developmentally or maturity-wise to be in a backless booster. They still need to be harnessed.

the ones with backs dont come with straps u use a seatbelt....

Sure they do. They are called harness boosters, and there is a wide range of them. I just a graco nautilus from Amazon.

You can also try Walmart, target, Kmart, babies r us, buy buy baby....any store that sells car seats.

The ones with a back add more support and are safer for young children at that age.

I got with a back. By carpool they use without backs. They are clearly not as safe.

Most kids are not ready (maturity-wise) to sit in a backless booster until they are older. The strap won't hit right if they are too young/short, and they probably won't sit properly either.
