It only has carrots, onions and water. Not a huge amount, maybe 5-6 cups left out. I guess I should toss it, but hate that... any thoughts?

I would eat it despite having a pretty sensitive stomach

I also would feel comfortable eating it, esp if it doesn't have dairy or meaty products.
This is assuming the room temperature wasn't too warm, and the pot was covered.
I normally leave parve soup overnight (unless it's summer) and had no problems with it.

I wouldn't eat it because it has onions in it.
But you can eat it if you follow this rule: Bring it to a boil. Once it is for sure boiling, start your timer and let it boil for 10 minutes. It must boil for NO LESS than 10 minutes. Then it's fine to eat.

It might be Ok but personally I wouldn't take the chance or feed it to others.
Not worth it.

Thanks all for your replies. It's still in my fridge from this morning, since I was too nervous to have it for dinner, but I think I may have it tomorrow (and leave it up to the older ones to decide on their own:). Our place is pretty cold at night, and the heat was only on for maybe an hour or so this morning, so it's probably fine.
