Something I could watch with dh.
I skimmed through recommendations on other threads, looking for something new.
Thanks!

The last 2 movies I watched are Catch Me If You Can (leonardo dicaprio, tom hanks- its a drama/comedy about a young guy who pretends to be a doctor/pilot/lawyer/etc to pay the bills and get places in life), and The Help (its an emotional drama set in the 50s? Not sure exactly when.... when black people were still being mistreated in the southern states... and a white woman who tried to change that)

When calls the heart. It takes place in the early 1900s so the ladies are all dressed tznuis for the most part. Hardly any kissing - maybe once every bunch of episodes. I'm in middle of it now on netflix and really enjoying it.

Just watched The Imitation Game (2014) which is a gripping movie based on the true story of Alan,Turing. Well worth it. No nakedness or kissing

I watched a really sweet movie called A Walk To Remember. It's a romantic drama kind of movie (hardly any kissing scenes) . The characters are teenagers but I liked it anyway

Also I see you specifically said not gory. We just recently watched a movie called phone booth. Its amazing how it really all takes place in a phone booth! A couple ppl get shot (main character, but not badly, and another guy who gets killed) but it's really really not that bloody at all (or else I wouldn't have watched it either...I hate gory too!!). It's amazing how you see someone controlling someone else's mind. We really enjoyed it! It is kind of a cliffhanger tho, if you can stand those...
Also we are watching a tv show called lucifer, about the devil coming out of hell and living in L.A., it's really funny not a movie tho, it's a series.

Brief but significant gore alert early in the movie. I closed my eyes through it and really really enjoyed the rest of the movie.
