Is the diamond round or square? High or low setting? Four or six prongs? With a halo or not? Diamonds, diamond chips or baguettes or nothing on the band?

I didn't want my diamond to stick up above the level of the band... I remember our drinking glasses growing up always had scratches on the inside from when my mother wore her ring to wash dishes
I also thought white gold would match with more of my clothes/jewelry than yellow gold.
I also hate how my hands look and wanted something understated and not too eye-catching that would balance out my weird-looking fingers. Kinda like this:

Anon in case you've seen it
Whoops but maybe doesn't qualify because it's a CZ. And not from my original engagement, lost that diamond years ago.

Round diamond 4 prong white gold setting, I think about 2 ct not sure, plain band no other stones.
Stone fell out, I have it but need to reset so I'll be watching this thread for ideas!

Didn't choose it, don't like it, and it's uncomfortable to wear because the way the band is shaped it takes up space in the width between my fingers.
I'm interested in white gold setting. My diamond is 1 ct and it's round.

Mine is like this one only 3 chips on each side.
It's a square diamond (brilliant cut), 1 karrat (I think) with four prongs.

(Can't figure out how to make the pic show.)
I have a very small hand, small fingers (size 4 1/4") and I really like how this looks.

I got mine for my 25th anniversary .
When I got engaged I got a pearl necklace and matching earrings.
Got an eternity band for the yichud room.
6 marquis baguettes in yellow gold.
My "engagement ring" 2 ct. Marquis with a halo of chips around.
6 prongs in white gold.
I got my eternity band dipped in white gold to match.
I wear 1 in each hand.

I love the Tiffany setting, its super simple but makes the diamond pop. Depends on the clarity of the stone and the color. You can ask any jeweler for the Tiffany setting or that style. It's their trademark. I have a 1.3 carat round and clear diamond on a Tiffany setting and I love it. It will never go out of style

Square diamond, which is called princess cut, four prong setting, with one baguette on each side of the band.
