Just found out I am expecting #2
DS will be nearly 2.5 when baby is born IYH. I really, really want a stroller where both kids can face me. Is the Donkey the only one?
I will pay for this feature, but I'm not really the type to get a designer stroller...
How is the Donkey? Is it any good?

When I was looking quite a few years ago, the Stroll Air had this option as well.
I would be surprised if there aren't other strollers with this option by now.

There are plenty of tandem ones that they can both face you. The Britax B Ready, the city Versa.

out-of-towner, I think you mean the City Select. Versa is a single stroller.
What I like about the Donkey (don't have one personally) is that it's a side by side double. The B-Ready and Select are both tandem strollers when the second seat is attached.

My kids are also two + years apart. I got the donkey and love it. No regrets even 3 years later. I still love it. It's great in the snow and uphill. I recommend if it's in the budget.

I know about the tandem doubles, I just have a funny thing about having 2 children at different heights. I want them to both feel equals. Is that silly? Maybe!
The Donkey is not in the budget, but I'll happily splash out if need be.

2.5 when starting out to use it may not be worth it. The seats are small.
I have one and love it but I bought it when the gap between the kids was much smaller.

The Mountain Buggy Duet offers you the ability to have a reversible seat - but it can't hold too much. It's a good double.

What age did you stop using it? What age child do you think it would fit?

My 2 and 8 month old is still riding in it but I can't see this continuing for much longer. I can no longer fasten the buckle around her tummy. She doesn't like when I extend the canopy because she can't see anything. She is big for her age, so I guess it could depend on your child.
I bought it when her older sister was 17 months old, and then when she was 13 months old I had another one. I really got my money's worth, I think, but for a 2.5 to start with seems a bit late.

I'm still using it for my 5.5 and 3 year old. Even with winter coats. But def no straps. And they are big kids.

Contours options elite. Tandem double and they are the same height. Much cheaper and you can always easily reconfigure the seats (both away, both facing you, face each other, face opposite each other...).

If you're not set on having them side by side, my two favorites are the citi mini city select and the uppababy vista
