I've also done quite a few "Paint by Number"s. But, most were Acrylic Paints, one was with Water-Paints.
They're all hanging on our walls.
I once got a really nice kit, with tubes of oil-paints, special paper, and an instruction-book.
I have no idea what ended up happening to it. I just kept on saving and saving it for a "Rainy Day"....

I bought a bunch of oil paints--- but they're sooo hard to work with- how do you thin them out? What about washing out the brushes?
I like acrylic painting better... I painted a pretty (in my opinion) picture that's hanging on my wall...

I oil paint (although not as often as I would like) and I enjoy it very much. I would like to further my learning but its so expensive to hire someone.

breslov- You need to go to an art store and ask for paint thinners. They will give you what you need for oil paint. I use the same thinners to clean my brushes.
