My email from the company:
Quote: | Yes, the large bags at Costco are still certified Kosher.
I spoke with the founder about why the Kosher logo is missing from the
Organic chickpea bags, because all of our other chickpeas so have the
logo. When we got the Organic Chickpeas, we had to get our printing for
the packaging done before we got the actual certification, so we could
not run the packaging with the logo. However, we have since gotten them
organic chickpeas certified, and the next round pf packaging will have
the Kosher logo. Our entire facility is actually certified Kosher by the
OU, so everything they make has to be Kosher. Unfortunately because we
were on such a tight timeline for the packaging, we were unable to use
the logo for the first batch we produced. Sorry for the confusion! We
are looking into asking Costco to post a letter from the OU that states
that the chickpeas are certified Kosher even though they are missing the
logo.
