Hester panim. You can have everything in Mishloach manos be something hiding inside something else (filled cupcakes, creme bos, etc). You can do masks. A poem or short paragraph about how we don't always see Hashem's hand/face, but it's there.

I did that one year. On the top layer of the basket was bread and water. Underneath, hamenstaschen, chanukah gelt and wine.

I know it's simple, but Shabbat theme.
Since Purim is Thursday.
Challah, wine/grape juice, kugels.dips, salads
Whatever fits in your budget.
I like useful shaloch manot, and less junk.
