Someone gave me a sterling silver picture frame for a gift.
Almost immediately after I got it, it broke in several ways that render it unusable (ie the tabs that hold the pic and backing in place, ALL broke off!)
Google searches for similar frames reveal that it's worth about $100. I hate to throw out something worth that much money but I don't really need it just cluttering up my desk.
Any ideas?

Many stores that sell sterling silver also do repairs. Get an estimate for repairing the frame. You can also try to sell the silver as scrap, but you probably won't get much.

If it's only the back of the frame, why not buy a cheap frame the same size and just use the backing from that one to fix your broken one?

The tabs (which attach the front of the frame to the back of the frame) are broken, how would I keep them together?
