I MUST cook the shabbos meat tonight. But I forgot to get it out of the freezer until about 3 hours ago. It's Still frozen solid. I have no way of getting more now and I cannot do it tomorrow. How can I cook it tonight?
It's a 3 pound bola.
Anon coz I'm embarrassed I forgot to get it out yesterday.

Defrost it in the microwave. Most have a button for defrost where you put in the weight of the meat.

You can also thaw it by immersing it, still wrapped, in COLD--not hot-- water and changing the water at least every half hour. Not really environmentally responsible but useful if you don't want to use the micro.

Thanks guys! I got all flustered and I couldn't think what to do. It's in the micro now.
