I need to send something fancy to a shalom Zachor. It can be a cake or a candy platter or something of that sort. If it can be custom made, that's great too. I want it to be very large and lavish. Anyone knows where I can go or call?
Willing to spend up to $400. Located in Brooklyn. Thanks!

Wow!! What could one send to a shalom Zachor that costs near 400$ ? I honestly have no idea. Isn't a shalom Zachor like cake and chulent?

It doesn't have to be that much. Less is even better! My husband just gave me instructions that it should be lavish, and I really have no idea how much these things cost.

Zeigelmans, The Cakery, Chantellie (sp?) all make fancy cakes, that can be customized. Don't have phone numbers. Can you try to Google it?

We gave a $200 bottle of liquor for a shalom zachor once in the past. If you add alcohol, it can add up quick!

Well liquor can cost hundreds, but that's not really what I was looking for. I needed something big and showy and I assumed it would cost a lot of money.

Maybe a nice fruit sculpture or something like that? Maybe try edible arrangements in bklyn. They used to be on Avenue m. Try Google for contact information.
