I'm sure there are many different factors, but what's the average pay for a teacher with around 10 years of experience.
This is a Regent subject .

I was paid 32 per period for my first year in a school, 8th year teaching. As I sub in another school I was paid 45. This was all Regents subjects

This is more in line with what I had assumed.
I thought that low forties is average.

It depends where! For example, in BP or Williamsburg you'd get more than in Monsey.
My second year teaching in Monsey I was offered 25 per period for a regents subject. Now teaching 10 years I get 35 per hour for a non-regents subject. I'd estimate 40-60.
