My Dd has to wear real gold and the last pair I bought for her, she lost. Any ideas of a nice inexpensive pair of earrings to buy with a good back?

Try screwback, hoop or leverback earrings.

I got very sturdy small 14k hoops with Diamond chips for my daughter from macys for $80 (sale plus coupon). This is after she lost a few pairs of earrings, and she also can only wear real gold. I'm very satisfied with this pair. She's been wearing them non stop for several months now.

If you're interested, I can try to find them online and link them.

My 7.5 year old has sensitive ears too. After losing a bunch, the gold plated is really great. try a hosiery store. Or a.good silver...they work for me and I also have sensitive ears. Also I stay away from earrings with a post.

I would avoid anything but gold as it can set off a lifetime allergy.

I don't understand how she can lose studs as once they are on, they stay there. I think some even scre on but the ones I had for small diamond studs were very tight fitting and took effort to get off so I generally just wore them all the time.

Not suggesting diamonds lol but a pretty stud with a tight thing that goes on holds well. In my experience, problems arise if you swap backs because may not be exactly the right size.
