We live out of town and our children's school is having issues with administrative and teacher turnover. And in general our kids are not thriving there. We are told by various people that this school has a "culture of bullying."

It is Litvish/yeshivish and we are considering switching to the Modern Orthodox school about 30 minutes away, but it's expensive and they are limited with scholarships.

However, my husband has a job opportunity in South Florida (Broward/Dade). So I have started looking at schools there. There are so many options it's daunting. We have one child in Pre-K, two in elementary, and one middle schooler.

Here's what I'm looking for in a school.

Warm, Torah environment
nonjudgemetal
compassionate teachers
small classes
limited 'frontal' teaching
options for different types of learners
bonus: art program Smile

Does a Jewish school exist that is like this? Is there a comprehensive list of Orthodox schools in South Florida? I've been searching but haven't found one.

Thanks in advance!

If you add your location to your title you might do better in getting responses (although as I'm writing this I see your post is only up for 10 minutes. However, most people who open it have nothing to contribute as they are in Brooklyn, of course. So by adding Miami etc to the title some people with actual info may come along!)

I'm open to Chabad, yeshivish or Modern if it's a warm, friendly environment with small classes (under 15 kids) and great teachers that cater to various learning styles. From what I'm being told, this doesn't exist in the day school system. But I'm being open minded.

I think there are two Chabad schools there, Hebrew Academy and Lubavitch Education Center. Would love feedback on these schools in particular.
