We are 4 adults using the maximum kezasim by the seder. How many bags of pre-checked romaine lettuce should we get for 2 sedarim? Which company? Thanks!

We use Positiv, which is the most reliably bug-free. I would think 3-4 bags would be right.

Last year we were 4 adults and 3 children + 1 toddler - 2 seder. We used 5 bags of positive romaine.

I never heard of Positiv romaine lettuce before. Is it a brand that is guaranteed to be bug free and does it have hashgocha. Please tell me more about it. Is it pre-washed?

Positiv definitely has hashgacha. It is pre-checked/washed and grown under very careful conditions to ensure that it is completely bug-free without any further checking/washing required. It's sold in all of the main supermarkets in Brooklyn.

DH who is very machmir, and very well researched on the companies, hashgachas and products on the market, will ONLY eat postiv for romaine, all year long.

I've also heard that Positive is the best\cleanest on the market.
In general we trust Rabbi Vei's (spelling ?) hechsher a lot when it comes to clean fruits and vegetables.
