Earplugs for the family time which sometimes gets a bit... noisy.
And of course... my faithful, reliable, good ol' chocolate.

I think I should market "The Lifesaving Pesach Essential Kitchen" kit. It would consist of a food processor, a good recipe book, and a pound of chocolate. Order by Purim and get a discount coupon at a local cleaning service.
Whaddaya think? Should I quit my day job?

Until recent years I would have said "my mother-in-law's house".
I always loved going to my in-laws for Pesach. The calm, organized atmosphere combined with family members that just plain GET ALONG without unnecessary drama - it was all such a beautiful contrast to the kind of Pesach I grew up with.
And I always felt so comfortable and welcome in their home.
But now, BH my family has gotten too big to be hosted. My mother-in-law still wants to make Pesach as long as she is able, so she won't come to me. I understand that.
Been making my own Pesach for a couple of years now. It's okay I guess, except when I have to invite my parents and siblings - drama and all.
So now, yeah, I would have to say valium.

this is a serious question- do a lot of people really take anti-anxiety medication for pesach? I suffer from an anxiety disorder, inattention, religious ocd... and have been on medication as well as therapy in the past but am not currently. One year I even went to a hotel since my husband couldn't handle me and yet taking meds for this isn't on my radar (staying home this year).

Yes. Succos and Pesach are the most stressful time of year for families, according to my frum therapist. I don't know your exact situation, but from what you are describing, it would benefit you and those around you. Imagine being (almost) stress-free before Pesach. You would enjoy the Y"T so much more! You definitely don't have to stay on it, there are meds that can be taken on demand (Xanax, Lorazepam, etc.) when you feel yourself getting anxious.

Back to the original question - a Shark steam cleaner for Pesach prep, and some decent utensils for Pesach itself.

The vacuum cleaner with hose. I use it to suck up crumbs from everywhere from drawers, to kitchen pantries, to toy areas. It's great for sucking off that last crumb off of tables and it's much easier to wipe surfaces clean after the crumbs have been removed.
