....according to the strictest opinion, with a picture on the box marking out some of the most popular other opinions, so you don't have to measure it? At least for machine shmurah?
Just wondering.

probably because adjusting/replacing their current machinery would cost a lot of money. also, designing and printing new boxes costs a lot of money.
one board of machine matza is the appropriate serving for motzi matza. korech is about two thirds of that. either way, at some point one will have to break the matza. and you can buy laminated cards with the shiurim on it.
I think we have enough convenience products for pesach.

Given the popularity of the pesach kosher foodfest, and the interesting new products out every year, I'm not sure that this opinion is held by all.
Personally, I might spring for pre-sized matza for seder. Certainly more likely than pesach cereal or pesach noodles.

would you buy two separate sizes for motzi matza and korech?

There are also a number of different opinions as to what the size of each shiur is, so they'd need them for each opinion.

One of DH's erev pesach jobs is to make little bags of matzah with the correct shiur for each person at the seder. It saves so much time during the seder!

So I was thinking any this all over last days. I never learned that, always I thought 2/3 of a machine matza. But I you are right that there is an opinion like that (add I'm sure you are), then that is exactly what they have done.... 1 board equals 2 kezayitim.
See....it was a good idea .

Before Pesach DH weighs everyone's portion, it just saves so much time at the Seder.
