I have a 2 kg (4 lb) package that needs to be send to Israel from the US. What's the best way to do it? I don't have family or close friends who could bring it.

put up notices in your shul ... you never know who is going ... or local advertisements might actually have this as a paid service for someone who obviously has room in their luggage
keep asking ...
