In Brooklyn to make a big picnic/party. Anyone know of any? It can't be too busy or noisy there.

That's not an easy thing to find.
Look in the redhook/sunset park area.
If you would consider going to Staten island you can do it in clove lake park, Queens has flushing meadow park, and I'm sure there are some nice parks in the 5 towns that night work.
