Just came from Alef Bais performance of my granddaughter, where they sang an adorable song about flowers need mayim and Torah is like mayim and helping flowers grow, and this song began to run through my mind.
I KNOW the Morah does not know "Watchin' Scotty Grow" - so which Jewish song uses this tune? We're all racking our brains....

I'm blanking on it but I think it could be a Country Yossi or Gershon Veroba song... Also, just thinking the chorus is kinda similar to "top of the world" which gershon veroba used for "top of the bima"

yes! this is what I was thinking of! Gershon Veroba did a parody of this, which may be where OP's kid's teacher got it from, since she thinks there's no way the teacher listens to non-Jewish music...
