We're planning a two week vacation this summer in Israel with three kids 18 months, 4 yo and 7 yo . We'll be half of the time in Jerusalem and half in the north, been there many times but I don't have many ideas of what to do / where to go so that everyone can enjoy... Without complaining about the heat all the day!
Do you have any tips and suggestions? Thank you!

It's hard with little kids! Will you have a car?
I am in Israel now and I find the best for me is to do an indoor activity in the morning or a kiddy pool and then let them nap from 1-3 and go out to a park in the afternoon. In Jerusalem after 4:30 the weather gets nice

Yes, we will have a car. What indoor activities do you suggest? And where are the pools for kids? Thanks!

Sorry, Jerusalem is not as advanced as the states with indoor activities! There is science museum or Israel museum in Jerusalem. mini Israel is like an hour drive. City of David also nice.
Another idea: Maybe you can find a Babysister to run a day camp for the kids in the morning and you can go out with DH to museums(since its kind of boring for kids..) while they do projects at home and take them out later when it's cool.
There is a nice pool it's in Jerusalem forest it's called מרכז ציפורי or יער ירושלים

Up north with children..
You can rent a tzimmer ( small bungalow ) look online just google tzimmer up north sometimes you can find with a pool that's really nice. If you're set with a place it really depends where you are located. Kinneret is great swimming! (They have a private separate beach by kinnar hotel) hikes for kids: ein Tina, nachal majerse
You can go in tveria on the Kimberley they rent boats or have boat rides. There's a really cool chocolate factory called dekarina, they have visiting tours

The north- we went to Katzrin. It's historical, but there are ruins of half walls etc, and while we were were marveling, the kids were running all around, in an out like it was a play area. Then we went to see a short movie inside a building, and there are benches all around and empty space in the middle. It was just us, so the kids ran around the edges and lay down and ate, and all was good.
On the way there, we stopped to see the aqueduct. It's on a beach, and we took the kids in wading and they played in the sand.

Katzrin also has a cool and free tour of an olive oil factory, plus Golan winery if you're into that.
