Kosher West advertises that they have refrigerated trucks. I wonder if anyone else does?
But even so, I don't know how long the order sits around until it goes into the truck.
I know if I order frozen veg they are usually defrosted.
I do make sure to write "Please pack all refrigerated and frozen items in one box" - not that they always listen... |
The gourmet Glatt in my town (Cedarhurst) labels boxes with cold/freezer items, and stores those boxes in their warehouse fridge until it's time for delivery. I would hope the Lakewood stores do that too!

I wouldn't order ice cream or ice pops that lose their shape and texture when melting.
Frozen veggies come mainly frozen. I"ve never had a problem with meat or chicken or fish going bad from an order. (I once had a smelly batch of chicken delivered in the winter but the sell by date was that day, I called the store and they credited me). Never had an issue with milk or dairy going bad.
Seasons did include an ice pack in the bag with the meats.
