I took out my old computer... connected all the wires and set it up but I forgot my security password. I'm sure there is a way to bypass that. I can't log in as a guest until I remember this password. Does anyone know the steps to bypass a windows security password to log on? Thanks!

Sorry no advice. I had this once, it sucks.... dh actually found a friend technician who tinkered with it and unlocked it for me, but he had to pay him a few bucks. I'm afraid you wont be able to avoid paying a tech for this service...
Good luck

If it's Windows 10 signed in with a Microsoft account, it should be easy.

It's a Dell computer and I think it's windows 7 (or 8).
I did google this but the instructions I followed didn't work. I think they were instructions for windows 10.

singleagain, do you know how this works? I can't get past the 2nd step since the computer keeps restarting (even though I am also pressing shift).
