Fox's in Flatbush has beautiful dresses for $40-$50. I saw several purple and some green dresses there. But the biggest size I saw was 16. Not sure if they carry 18. Maybe call and ask?

never heard - I'll have to check out if it's foxy ...
I called they said they don't have women's sizes ...

yeah - the floor length won't be an issue ... but the tight too fitted ... the others do not have my size & it is too high so I would look busty & pregnant - and the middle I tried on something similar the tight pleats make a woman of my size look like a hippo ...
but I really appreciate your time looking

Have you tried Dressbarn.com. They have 15% off today with the code ALLINFALL. They also have a store in the Erskine Mall (Gateway Center.) That mall also has a Burlington store that has good prices.

yup those are the very same digits
women's sizes usually refers to plus so I think that is what she meant

There's a dress barn on the corner of coney and kings highway also, if that's closer to you.

Greenie, the website 6pm.com has evening dresses for all sizes , including larger sizes and always has sales.

no luck at fox's or anywhere on king's highway ... although I tried on a stunning teal gown in marshall's - I got my body in it ... yeah it was stretchy so luckily I got out of it too
no worries on the way home got ice cream - treating myself to a very hard day of not fitting into anything

Have you tried Burlington Coat Factory? There's one at Atlantic Ave. I once found a really nice wedding outfit there.
